Fun fact: this formula was once called the Golden Ichor, meaning nectar of the gods, for its unrivaled flavor and anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich health benefits. We think the name still fits.

"We really liked the ginger bitters from strongwater so I decided to try the aromatic bitters when my go to angostura bitters started running low. My wife and I were both impressed after tasting our first bourbon old fashioned made with the aromatic bitters. The flavors are bright and really pop without overpowering the bourbon or the excellent strongwater old fashioned syrup that we love to use. The syrup has all the ingredients you need but just a dash or two of these bitters elevates our old fashioneds to another level. Looking forward to trying a few of the other strongwater cocktail bitters offerings."

Excellent Bitters with a Complex Test

"Our son gave us these, we have not seen them around our local outlets. My wife loves their complexity, and they are certainly now a regular part of the variety of bitters we rotate using in our cocktails. They say old-fashioned but we also use them in Manhattans and all sorts of other cocktails requiring bitters. We just enjoy experimenting and these never fail to please.
